MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Pirates are taking sign-ups for this summer's Pirates youth baseball camp.

The camp is being held July 16-18 at Larson Playfield between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day.

Pirates owner Brent Kirwan said the camp is an opportunity for baseball players to improve their skills.

"[The camp is a] great way for your young player to rub shoulders with top players working to reach the pros." Kirwan said.

Boys and girls will be instructed in a station-to-station format under the direction of Pirates coaches and players.

Pirates manager Trevor Brown said he is looking forward to seeing the participants and is excited about the camp and the opportunity to teach kids the fundamentals of the game.

Cost to register for the three-day camp is $95 and includes a special edition Pirates T-shirt.
