Pullers compete at SummerFest

ROYAL CITY - The Columbia Basin Sled Pullers made an appearance at Royal City's SummerFest this past weekend.
In the field next to Lyon's Park a regulation, 300-foot track was set up for any and all competitors willing to try.
The hand built sled can weigh 38,000 pounds as the sled is pulled down the track.
Classifications in the event include stock gas and stock diesel classes, which allows drivers to pull with a vehicle licensed for street use. There are also modified, heavy modified, unlimited, and semi truck classifications to compete in the SummerFest event.
