MOSES LAKE - A drive-by shooting was reported at a residence on South Sunset Drive in Moses Lake Sunday morning, no injuries were reported.

An unidentified suspect in a light green 1991 Honda Accord was seen shooting at the one-story residence a few minutes before 8 a.m., Capt. Dave Ruffin said. The suspect is a male. Further information was not available.

Police located 10 spent casings from a .40 caliber handgun in the roadway near the home and gunshot holes were located in the siding of the home, according to police records. Three adults live at the residence.

Six witnesses, including neighbors were interviewed by police. Witnesses stated there was only one person in the car, he said.

Ruffin said there are no indications the shooting is gang-related.

Adams County Sheriff Doug Barger said he was contacted by police about the shooting to provide suspect information. He said the Honda Accord is registered to an Othello resident.

At approximately 5 p.m. Sunday, emergency dispatch provided information over police scanners advising law enforcement what the suspect vehicle looked like to help locate it.

The incident remains under investigation.
