MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Junior Legion 16U A team, the Moses Lake Sun Devils, host the district championship series this Friday at Lauzier Field.

The Sun Devils will host the Yakima Scarlets in a doubleheader beginning Friday at 4 p.m.

If the Scarlets and the Sun Devils split Friday's doubleheader, both teams will return to Lauzier Field on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the deciding third game.

The Sun Devils are 26-14 this season and are playing for a birth in the state tournament.

The Junior Legion state championships are August 2-6 in Spokane.

The Moses Lake team is in its first season participating in the Junior Legion League A division.
