Sadie Arlene Rose, 75, passed away May 30, 2008, in Kalispell. She was born in Havre on Oct. 27, 1932, to Dewey and Lorraine (Jones) Hedge.
Sadie graduated from high school in Helena and independently studied psychology, history and prophecy.
She was married to Jess Wigner Sr., and later to Les Rose.
Sadie was a mother and a homemaker, and also enjoyed camping and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her spouses; a son, Jess Wigner Jr.; a daughter, Diane Evans; brothers, Duane Hedge and Marvin Hedge; sister, Cheri Hedge; three grandchildren; and one nephew and one niece.
Sadie is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Wigner of Kalispell, Julie Wigner of California City, Calif., Tammi Kennedy of Gold Beach, Ore., and Arlene Rose of Choteau; sisters and brothers, Flora Lind of Kalispell, Janice Jordan of Florence, Ore., Clarence Hedge of Columbia Falls, and Dennis Hedge of Troy; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial luncheon is planned from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the Kalispell Moose Lodge, 2158 U.S. 2 E., in Kalispell. A wake and services will be held Aug. 16 in the Swan Valley. Call Lorraine Wigner at 257-2254.
