Patricia E. (Wright) Melby, 66, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1942, in Anaconda to Arthur and Mary (Barrett) Wright. She received her education in Anaconda and Kalispell.

In January 1960, she was married to Lowell V. Melby in Kalispell.

She loved arts and crafts and knitting and crocheting. She made many hats for her family and for many years, made hats for the Toys for Tots program.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John A. Wright and Thomas Wright; and a sister, MaryJane McCready.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell Melby, of Bigfork; four daughters, Ellen Mayhan and husband, Ray, of Palden, Ariz., Denise Robinson and husband, Dennis, of Kalispell, LoLynn Melby of San Jose, Calif., and Julie Melby of Bigfork; grandchildren, Chris of California, Amber and husband, Lorin, and girls, Teka, Alice and Serenity, of Arizona, and Joseph and his daughter, Shannon, of Kalispell; brothers, Art Wright and wife, Diane, and Mike Wright and wife, Andi, sister-in-law, Rose Wright, niece, Cindy Peterson, and husband, Kim, all of Kalispell.

Memorial services for Patricia will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral chapel, with Pastor Ron Pierce officiating. There will be no visitation.
