Lady Vikings drop match

MOSES LAKE - The Lady Vikings could not dig themselves out of an early hole Wednesday night as the Blue Mountain Community College Timberwolves defeated Big Bend Community College in four games.
Blue Mountain jumped out to an early match lead following a 25-14 victory in game one.
The Lady Vikings responded in game two with a 25-23 victory to pull even in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges match.
Big Bend's rally was short lived as the Timberwolves rebounded to win the next two games 25-8 and 25-9 to hold off the Lady Vikings.
Jhenesis Garza led Big Bend with seven kills and Ali Walen added five kills and 14 digs in the loss.
Taisha Haines had three blocks and four kills for the Lady Vikings.
The Big Bend Lady Vikings return to action Friday night when the host Wenatchee Valley Community College. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
