PATEROS - The Wilson Creek girls volleyball team traveled to Pateros Thursday night to take on the Nannies.

The Devils dropped the first game of the contest 25-18 before rebounding to win the match in four games.

Wilson Creek won the final three games of the match 27-25, 25-14 and 25-23 to earn the win.

Despite the victory, Wilson Creek head coach Mike Ottis was not pleased with his team's performance.

"I wasn't real happy all the way around," he said. "But I was happy we got the win."

The Devils improved to 5-2 on the year with Thursday night's victory and said Pateros is a difficult place to play.

"Any time you go up to a hostile environment and come back with a win is good," he said.

Kesenje Fredere had 10 kills and three blocks in the win. Paige Dennis also added four aces for Wilson Creek.

Ottis said if his team wants to advance to the postseason they must improve.

"If we want to do anything with our season we have to play better," he said.
