Moses Lake car audio business burglarized

Thieves stole up to $60,000 in equipment

MOSES LAKE - Advanced Motor Sport and Car Audio Accessories in Moses Lake was burglarized over the weekend.

Various audio equipment including speakers, sub-woofers and amplifiers were reported stolen from the showroom of the West Third Avenue business, according to Moses Lake police.

Business owner Mike Lynn said between $50,000 and $60,000 worth of merchandise was taken.

Someone cut the phone line outside the business to disable the alarm system. Entry was made by prying open the front door to the business, according to police records.

Lynn said he will have to replace the door and expects it to cost $1,000. He said a keypad for the alarm system was also torn from the wall.

There could be more than one suspect, according to police records. The burglary reportedly happened between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

No arrests were made and the incident is under investigation.

The business is open for customers.
