MOSES LAKE - Horsepower of the manmade kind will invade the Kenny Ardell Arena Saturday night at the Grant County Fair Grounds as the Columbia Basin Sled Pullers hold their last event of the season.

Competitors will compete for bragging rights as well as $3000 in cash and prizes. The awards are on the line in six different classes ranging from complete stock vehicles to heavily modified four-wheel drive trucks. The competition also has a semi truck class.

During the event, contestants will make two attempts to pull a sled down a 300-foot track. The driver whose vehicle pulls the sled the farthest will be declared the winner. Vehicle entry fee into the contest is $40 and the event is free for the public.

For more information contact the Columbia Basin Sled Pullers at (509) 760.3676.
