Wilson Creek sweeps Pateros

WILSON CREEK - The Wilson Creek Devils volleyball team swept the visiting Pateros Nannies Tuesday night to close out their home regular season.
The Devils rode a 26-24 win in the first game of the match to close out Pateros. Wilson Creek would win the next two games of the match 25-13 and 25-18 to earn the North Central Washington 1B league victory.
Wilson Creek head coach Mike Ottis said he was pleased with his team's offense Tuesday night.
"It was a nice, balanced little attack," he said.
Wilson Creek junior Ksenje Fredere led the Devils with eight kills. Fredere also had six aces from the service line.
Holly Wilson added six kills for Wilson Creek and Brynna Stevens had five kills in the victory.
Jackie Treat led the Wilson Creek attack with 26 assists.
As the Devils approach districts and the postseason, Ottis said he wants his team to play consistently.
"Hopefully we can stay consistent," he said.
Wilson Creek wrapped up second place in the NCW league with Tuesday night's win over Pateros.
