MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the 2008 Cheer Camp at Frontier Middle School.

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the 2008 Cheer Camp at Frontier Middle School.

The camp is scheduled to take place on Sept. 30, Oct. 2, Oct. 7 and Oct. 9 at the Frontier Middle School practice field. The cost of the camp is $30 and includes a pompom and T-shirt. The four-day camp is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The camp will focus on cheerleading skills and the Moses Lake High School cheerleaders will teach cheers, chants, jumps and basic stunting techniques.

Participants wearing their Cheer Camp T-shirts to the Moses Lake varsity football game Oct. 10 will perform with the Moses Lake cheerleaders when the Chiefs host Wenatchee.

Interested participants are asked to register at the Moses Lake Parks and Recreation office before Sept. 26.
