MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake’s Carly Noyes is going to be a Cougar.

The 6’5” Moses Lake High School senior has verbally committed to play basketball next season for the Washington State Cougars.

Noyes chose the WSU over Gonzaga, Utah, UCLA, California, Arizona St, Oregon and Washington.

Noyes led the Moses Lake Chiefs to the 2008 Washington state girls basketball championship game.

The Chiefs fell to Lewis and Clark 42-37 in the title game.

Noyes was selected first-team All-State and is a two-time Columbia Basin League Player of the Year.

She is also the Moses Lake all-time leader in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots.
