15-year-old victim

GRAND COULEE - A Grand Coulee man was arrested Saturday for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

Michael William Cody Blackburn, 24, was arrested for two counts of child rape in the third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and for making false statements to a public servant, according to the Grand Coulee Police Department.

The incident allegedly took place in a Federal Avenue apartment. Police continue to investigate the relationship between the victim and suspect.

Blackburn was booked into the Grant County Jail.
