Moses Lake earns second victory

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Chiefs swept the visiting Davis Pirates Thursday night to win their second match of the season.

The Chiefs dropped the Pirates 25-14, 25-18 and 25-16.

Moses Lake played well and head coach Amy Utter credits her team's cooperation.

"They played with focus, intensity and energy," she said. "We just did a great job tonight as a team."

Sophomore Kaydren Dunkin led the Chiefs attack with 13 kills and senior Shelby Gonzales added 11 kills and 10 digs.

Iesha Garza added 10 kills and 12 digs and Marquel Fancher had 31 assists.

The Chiefs travel to West Valley Tuesday, Sept. 30.
