Cougars maul Warriors

WARDEN - The Warden Cougars took advantage of three straight wins to knock off the Wahluke Warriors and improve to 2-2 in league play.

The Cougars topped the Warriors 25-13, 25-16 and 25-15.

The league victory also improved the Cougars to 3-3 overall this season.

Warden head coach Jeff Kottong said his team played the game he expected from them.

"We kept our errors to a minimum and kept the ball in play," he said.

Kacey Kisler had five kills and 13 digs. Kim McPartland added eight kills and Saira Martinez added 12 digs.

Warden takes on rival Columbia Tuesday, Sept. 30.
