The Bulldog boys tennis team kept up their winning ways over the weekend, destroying both Stevensville and Ronan on the road by the same score, 6-1.

Whitefish's Matt Harris and Tanner Hosek went undefeated at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots. Harris took down Sam Lubbers, of Stevensville, and Sage Burland, of Ronan, while Hosek defeated Riley Slaughter, of Stevensville, and Jeff Blixt-Leo, of Ronan.

Travis Adams defeated Ronan's Colton Cheff, 8-1, at the No. 3 spot, then helped Jake Morrison get a win in the No. 2 doubles match against Stevensville. Ronan's Kyle Yankee helped the Chiefs avoid a sweep with an 8-1 victory over Nick Jack.

Against Stevensville, Zach Deister and Chase Pierce won a drawn-out battle against Ryan Dufrense and James Eazler in the No. 1 doubles match-up, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

Earlier in the week on Tuesday, the Bulldogs swept Columbia Falls in a tennis dual. The girls scraped by with a 4-3 win, while the boys dominated in a 6-1 victory.

Kate Klundt defeated Lydia Freeman, of Columbia Falls, 6-1, 6-1, for the No. 1 singles win, while Meredith Reed picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 2 match-up.

McCara Cullen and Anne Miller rallied back from a deficit to pick up a win in the No. 1 doubles spot, 5-7, 6-3, 6-2, followed by Chelsi Bergensmith and Becca Rozer at No. 2.

The boys won three times in singles and all three doubles matches to take down the Wildcats. Columbia Falls' Vadim Zvyagelskiy spoiled a perfect score for Whitefish, winning a tight match, 6-6, (7-5), 6-3, over Joel Mallams.

Whitefish head coach Kathy Cummings said the boys JV matches against Columbia Falls were exciting to watch. Whitefish's Hustin Jaffe and Casey Beiser defeated Parker Johnson and Brant Wyman 8-3 in the No. 1 JV doubles spot, while Casey Beiser and Nick Jack took down Austin Weaver and Aaron Richardson 8-2. Ian Cantrell and Kolter Jarson took down Matt Willke and Kafel Kim 8-6.
