Virginia Pauline Woll, 92

Virginia Pauline Woll, 92, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at Brendan House in Kalispell. Virginia was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Polson, to Harry C. and Jessie G. (Chinnock) Rolston. As a child she grew up in the Ferndale area, graduating from Bigfork High School.

She married Pete E. Woll on June 29, 1937, in Kalispell, and lived on the same family farm until moving to Brendan House in 2008. She had been a 4-H leader in Lower Valley for many years.

Virginia worked at the Kalispell General Hospital, was lead cook for Eva Gates Preserves, and was involved in the Hodgson Home Craft club. Her last employment before retiring was with Chris and Arlene Levengood.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jessie Rolston; husband, Pete E. Woll; brother, Bill Rolston; and two sisters, Marie Kitzmiller and Martha Bishop.

She is survived by two sons, Harry and wife, Lonnie Woll, and Pete C. and wife, Brenda Woll; daughter, Darlene, and husband, Ray Sanders; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Virginia will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Home Options Hospice, 171 Commons Loop, Suite 100, Kalispell, MT 59901.
