CLARK FORK — Shaina Gustafson had eight points, five rebounds and six steals, and Chelsea Macumber added seven points, but it wasn’t enough, as Clark Fork fell 60-25 to Timberlake in nonleague girls basketball action Tuesday night in Clark Fork.

“Timberlake was a lot bigger than us; they can put a full team out there taller than us. Cassie Thompson is a darn good ball player,” said Cats coach Dexter Vogel. “We did move the ball well, had some good looks, just weren’t hitting buckets.”

Thompson poured in 23 points to lead Timberlake (7-0), which outscored the Wampus Cats (4-4) 23-2 in a decisive third quarter.

The Cats play a make-up game at Coeur d’Alene Charter on Dec. 22.
