Glacier wrestlers pound Hellgate, 68-15

MISSOULA — Glacier won 10 matches, eight by pins, and added 12 more points off two forfeits to crush Missoula Hellgate 68-15 in a Western AA wrestling dual on Thursday.
Winning by pin for Glacier were Zach Barber (119), Lucas Mantel (125), Cooper Sipe (130), Nick Iavicolli (135), Tanner Woodland (160), Randy Martin (189), Jake Criner (215) and Dan Gilbert (285).
Four of the pins were under a minute with Mantel having the quickest fall at 19 seconds. Barber was next (43 seconds), followed by Gilbert (47) and Iavicolli (50).
Glacier coach Mark Fischer said Brayden Bagley (145) “did a super job tonight.”
Bagley won by technical fall over Keegen Adcock, 15-0.
Also winning for the Wolfpack was Shane St. Onge (140) with a decision.
This marked the second lopsided dual victory of the season for the Wolfpack, who pinned Butte last week 70-8. On Saturday, the Wolfpack won the 13-team Polson Invitational.
Glacier will wrap up the week today and Saturday at the Mining City Duals in Butte. The Wolfpack competes in Pool 6, which includes Bozeman, Hardin and C.M. Russell.
Glacier’s first match is 11:30 a.m. versus Bozeman.
