Emma Katharina Martinez, 82, Mom, passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at the Brendan House in Kalispell; with four generations by her side. She was born on Sept. 22, 1927, in Sirmitz, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Guri and Tenezie (Kohlova) Riedlova. She was able to see a lot of the world being married to a 20-year military man. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joseph Martinez; a brother; a sister; and her parents. She is survived by her son, Ernest W. Martinez and wife Tina, granddaughter Tammi Guardado and husband Mike, grandson, Ernest J. Martinez and wife Lori, all of Kalispell; granddaughter, Terri Lynn Martinez, of Oxnard, Calif.; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. We will all miss you and know that you have found peace with God. Memorial services for Emma will be held in the spring. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for Emma s family.
