Patricia Jean Konken, 50, passed away on Dec. 21, 2009, in Kalispell. Patricia was born on April 5, 1959, in Browning, to Thomas and Dorothy Flickinger Hewitt. She lived in Conrad until 1962, when they moved to Kalispell. She attended schools in the Flathead Valley, graduating from Flathead High School in 1978. Patricia worked for the Forest Service in the Yaak Country after graduating from high school, then worked for Imperial Laundry, Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and worked home health care for Intrepid U.S.A. Patricia married Ronald Konken at the White Oak Lodge in Somers on July 2, 1988. Patricia loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, going to the lake, loved to entertain at her home with lots of people, liked shopping for her grandchldren and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hewitt; and a sister, Rita Kellenberger. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Neil Konken; mother, Dorothy Hewitt; children, Alicia Hewitt and Maria Konken; grandchildren, Abby and Gabby Weber; brother, Michael Hewitt; a nephew, Joel Hewitt; and niece, Jessica Horner. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, with urn burial to follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
