MOSES LAKE — The Davis Pirates made the trip to the Columbia Basin Tuesday night to take on Columbia Basin Big Nine conference rival Moses Lake.

Moses Lake knocked off Davis 58-48 and dropped the visiting Pirates to 6-6 in conference play.

The Pirates jumped out to an early lead and held it throughout the first quarter.

The Chiefs eventually found their wings in the second quarter and took over the game.

Moses Lake senior led the Chiefs with 21 points in the win and fellow senior and the school’s all-time leading scorer Josh Loera had 20 points for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs improved to 6-6 in conference play and 10-5 overall.

Moses Lake will return to the court this Saturday when they participate in the district playoffs.
