Bradley Alan Wright, 50, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at his residence in Kalispell. Brad was born Aug. 7, 1958, in Whittier, Calif., to Ilene and Russell Wright.

He grew up in Whittier, Ventura, Calif., Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to Kalispell with his mom, sister and two brothers in 1969.

He attended Flathead High School with the class of 1976. Brad had been employed in the gold mines of Nevada, casino work in Las Vegas and fishing boats in Alaska, and always returned to the Flathead Valley.

Brad excelled in writing music and playing guitar, and he enjoyed a great game of cribbage. He often talked of a special trip he shared to Hawaii, and he never gave up on his Oakland Raiders.

Brad had been in declining health for a few years and had been intensely studying his Bible, seeking comfort and understanding.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Russell, in 1963; and his brother, Randall, in 1994.

He is survived by his mother, Ilene, and stepfather, Larry O. Lee, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; two daughters, Lacy Wright of Kalispell, and Briana Savattere of Lake Havasu City; one brother, Kyle Wright, of Kalispell; three sisters, Leshia Wright of Cave Creek, Ariz., Libbe Gilbert of Lake Havasu City, and Elizabeth Anderson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; niece, Lexi Wright, of Chicago; five nephews, Tyson Wright of Kalispell, Russell Wright of Imperial Beach, Calif., Austin Wright of Kalispell, Tyler Lee of Lake Havasu City, and Evan Andersen of Coeur d'Alene; and good friends DJ and Betty Clark of Kalispell.

Private family services were held Feb. 17 at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lebanon, Mo., alongside his father and brother.
