Whitefish Pilot

On Saturday, the Bulldogs defeated Bigfork in the morning, then took down Libby in the afternoon game 56-48 to win the consolation bracket. Whitefish will now face Polson at 6 p.m. on Monday at Glacier High School in the challenge game to determine which team will get the No. 2 seed (from Northwest A) to the state tournament, along with divisional champion Columbia Falls. The Pirates and the Bulldogs split the regular season, with Polson handing the Bulldogs their only regular season loss that was larger than a one-point margin.

The Lady Bulldogs lost to the Polson Lady Pirates in the consolation game on Saturday night, ending their state tournament hopes.
