David Jordan Milliren, 18, passed away on Dec. 29, 2008, in a tragic automobile accident.
David was born April 20, 1990, in Kalispell Regional Medical Center to Michael and Patricia Milliren.
He grew up primarily in Kalispell with a brief period in Missoula. He attended Russell Elementary School, Linderman Middle School, Kalispell Junior High School, Flathead High School and Laser School before receiving a Flathead High School diploma in June 2008.
David loved to make people laugh and he enjoyed all that life had to offer. Those who had the fortune to know him loved him dearly and valued his company. He spent his free time carving up the slopes of Big Mountain, hunting game with his family, playing sports and spending time with his many friends and family.
His achievements included winning the sixth-grade Kalispell Rotary Basketball championship title, the seventh-grade city geography bee, being voted by Laser students as the most likely to be a talk-show host, and being recently promoted at Artisan Millwork to the position of quality control manager. He was confirmed into the United Methodist Church in the eighth grade.
Of his many aspirations, he wanted to attend culinary school and become a professional chef of reality-television caliber. His laid-back lifestyle and goofy humor were welcomed with open arms and will always render smiles on our faces.
David is preceded in death by his grandfather Carlton Milliren of Tacoma; grandmother Patricia Lenz of Kalispell; and aunt Vickie Donahue of Kalispell.
David is survived by his mother, Patricia Milliren and Henry Thompson, of Denver; his father, Michael, and stepmother, Elsie Milliren, of Kalispell; grandparents Gene and Jackie Lenz of Kalispell, Elaine Milliren of Tacoma and Judith Schenck of Kalispell; siblings Eric Milliren of Bozeman, Elizabeth Milliren of Kalispell, Elaine Clemow of Missoula, Mark Clemow of Kalispell and Zach Thompson of Bozeman; aunts and uncles Don and Gail Waller of Kalispell, Valerie and Jacob Margalit of Los Angeles, Bryan and Trudy Lenz of Missoula, Tim Milliren of San Diego, Kevin and Kelly Milliren of Tacoma, Patricia Costa of Tacoma and Donna Milliren of Tacoma; and cousins Robert, Shawn, Shannon, Scott, Rachelle, Andrew, Kurtis, Kelsie, Dominick and Harley.
