Care to share your secret backcountry spots to hike, ski, fish, etc?

I’ve had very limited backcountry experience around Sandpoint, but one of my favorite spots to gain some altitude for a vertical powder plunge would have to be Jeru Peak up the Pack River Road.

Any other suggestions? I’ve heard good things about the Cabinet Mountains out near Hope, but details are vague.
