Robert "Rob" Lynn Knight Byrd, 35, passed away Jan. 5, 2009, in Kalispell because of a construction accident. He was born July 21, 1973, in Libby and graduated from Libby High School.
In 2000, he married Laurie Kim Martin.
Robert had worked for Pat Hanley Logging and Roberts Logging, and owned and operated Byrd's Lawn and Tree Care.
He enjoyed logging, snow machining, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Lynn Knight.
Rob is survived by his wife, Laurie Byrd, of Kalispell; parents, Jim and Debbie Byrd, of Libby; children, Jasmine Byrd, Kyle Yankee, Rylie Yankee, Aubrey Byrd, Tayshia Byrd, Madison Byrd and Gavin Byrd; sister, Nandy LeCroix, of Missouri; brothers, James Byrd of Columbia Falls, and John Byrd of Libby; and grandparents, Marge Knight of Libby, Anna Byrd of Boise, Idaho, and Jim and Onie Byrd of Vernal, Utah.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Faith Covenant Church, 611 Third Ave. E., in Kalispell. Burial will be at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
