Boundary County Back Country Access Snowmobile Club once again offered Valley View Elementary School students free rides.

The snowmobile club has been giving rides to fourth- and fifth-grade students for five years.

“Larry Van Gundy, a fifth-grade teacher, started the tradition but has since retired,” said club member Randy Peterson. “Larry doesn’t ride much anymore so we all got together to carry on the tradition; the kids look forward to it every year.”
