A 16-year-old girl was arrested for family member assault after she allegedly threatened her mother with a pair of scissors. She is also accused of biting a neighbor boy, according to Flathead County Sheriff's deputies.

Deputies responding to the parking lot of a Kalispell grocery store arrested a 24-year-old man for partner assault after he allegedly punched a woman in the stomach and threw her around.

A Bruyer Way Loop resident told officers an aide is stealing her medication.
An intoxicated woman called from a College Avenue residence to tell police she was arguing with her uncle and that she was afraid it might turn physical. She was counseled, but later arrested for disorderly conduct when officers were forced to return.
A 17-year-old on Appleway Drive allegedly was assaulted by two women, possibly teens.
Officers were called to a county building on First Avenue West after a man became irate over high taxes.
Officers received 82 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police received 45 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Columbia Falls police
Columbia Falls police arrested a 51-year-old woman on a warrant for contempt of court during a traffic stop on Columbia Mountain Road. She originally was charged with assault, criminal mischief, and filing false reports.
Officers received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Alarms
The Columbia Falls Fire Department extinguished a fire in the bathroom of a Larch Lane home. The electrical fire, which is believed to have started in a ceiling fan, was contained to one room.
The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a car crash on Wisconsin Avenue. A teenager was taken to North Valley Hospital.
The Marion Fire Department and firefighters with the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation fought a wildfire on Badger Mountain.
The Kalispell Fire Department was paged to the 700 block of Second Avenue East after a stove caught fire.
The Somers Fire Department responded to a fire at the Dumpster site on Blacktail Road.
