passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2009, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Detroit to Robert and Geraldine (Gohs' Webber.

Paul was married to the love of his life, Catherine "Kate" (Claytor) Webber on Dec. 20, 1986, in Michigan.

Paul was the ultimate musical performer. Even though Paul was a natural musician, he studied under the guidance of the director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra until the director proclaimed Paul needed no further instruction. He'll be best known for his crooning and Elvis style of singing. Paul never met a musical instrument he couldn't master.

He began performing at an early age and continued performing throughout his lifetime. Paul's favorite musical instrument was the saxophone. He emulated the style of Boots Randolph to perfection. Gifted with a beautiful baritone voice, Paul leaves a legacy of uplifting the hearts of family and friends through song.

Paul enjoyed driving vintage and sports cars. He collected classic movies and loved to fish, boat and shoot pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine "Kate" Webber of Columbia Falls; four daughters, Amy Sharpe of Troy, Mich., Stacy Firu and husband, John, of Kalispell, Connie Lasco and husband, Aaron, of Somers, and Donna Stuk and husband, Jeff, of Ortonville, Mich.; and six grandchildren, Owen Sharpe, Sarah Firu, Vanessa Firu, Mason Lasco, Chase Stuk and Tristan Stuk.

Funeral services for Paul will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
