Dear Editor:

The membership of the Libby Volunteer Fire Department would like to go on record showing full support of Sheriff Daryl Anderson.

He has worked with our emergency organization for over 40 years – from a city policeman to county sheriff. We are honored and privileged to work with a man of his integrity and his loyalty to all the emergency services and citizens in all of Lincoln County.

He has always been a “hands-on” officer and willing to work with and help us in our job of providing a safe community for us all to live and play and work in.

Tom Wood, chief;

Bill Watt, first assistant chief; and Steve Lauer, second assistant chief
