Shodair soccer loaded with local talent

The Flathead Valley and area schools will have a strong contigent on the field today for the annual Shodair Soccer Classic in Helena.
Scott Warnell of Flathead High School and Lini Reading of Whitefish will coach the White Team in the girls game set for 5 p.m. at Nelson Stadium on the campus of Carroll College.
Playing for the White are: Heidi Windauer, Flathead, forward; Kelsey McCluskey, Whitefish, defender; Carly Lengstorf, Whitefish, forward; Megan Powell, Whitefish, forward/midfielder; Kylee Smith, Whitefish, forward/middle defender; Brittany Martin, Libby, left forward/left defender; Heather Howell, Polson, defense/midfield; and Erin King, Polson, right defense.
Playing for Team West in the boys match at 7 p.m. are: Cameron Clevidence, Flathead, forward/center/midfiedler; Kyle Dixon, Flathead, center/midfielder; Jake Danczyk, Whitefish, defender; Marc Hotzfield, Whitefish, center/midfielder/center back; Patrick Jones, Whitefish, center midfielder; Evan May, Libby, center midfielder/forward striker; Kyle Berke, Libby, midfielder/forward/defender; Keio Salmonson, Polson, wing; Travis Pete, Columbia Falls, center/mid and outside mid; and Jarod Rice, Glacier, forward/center/midfielder.
