Ronan police bust drug house

After Ronan Police assisted in a parole related search of 223 Adams St. SW in Ronan, they discovered a number of drug violations in the house, Assistant Police Chief Art Walgren said in a press release today.

Police executed a search warrant  and discovered a large amount of marijuana and prescription hydrocodone. Police took a 19-year-old Ronan man into custody and are holding him at the Lake County Detention Center on possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and possession of dangerous drugs felony charges.

"If you're going to try to sell drugs in Ronan, it's just a matter of time until we come knocking on your door," Walgren said.
