The meeting is slated for 7 p.m. and will be in the Council Chambers located in the police station.

“The meeting will discuss the types of gang issues our community is confronted with, as well as strategies and programs being utilized by the police department to deter youth crimes and gangs,” Moses Lake police Chief Dean Mitchell stated. “There will also be ideas and suggestions on what your neighborhood can do to assist the police department with confronting gang-related crimes.”

He said there has been a concern about youth crimes from the community as well as the Moses Lake City Council. People are concerned about the graffiti they see.
