SANDPOINT — After struggling to find affordable and attractive uniforms during her 25 years in the dental field, Catherine Murray decided to take matters into her own hands.
Murray recently opened Catie’s Uniform Shoppe, a retail uniform store for the medical community. Catie’s offers a full slate of clothing from Cherokee, Dickie, Mad About Scrubs and Koi in a large variety of sizes and styles for both men and women.
While she primarily stocks clinical wear, Murray has access to chef wear and a variety of other uniforms, all of which is available in tall and petite sizes.
“I like to be able to feel the fabric and try them on to confirm the fit,” she said. “I decided to open the uniform store so potential customers could try on the items prior to purchasing, saving them time and shipping charges.”
Catie’s Uniform Shoppe is located approximately one block north of the Life Care Center at 1309 Ponderosa Drive, suit 204. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
