She grew up on their farm and went to a county school.

Hilda was married to John Krause on April 7, 1929. Hilda and John farmed in North Dakota and moved to the Flathead Valley in 1951. John passed away in 1968. She then was married to Ed Allers on Feb. 7, 1970. Ed passed away in 1984.

Hilda worked a variety of jobs, including cooking at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp and at Immanuel Lutheran Home.

She was a member of the Eagles, AARP and Kalispell Senior Citizens, and for 12 years was part of the Kitchen Band that played in a variety of places throughout the valley. She loved to volunteer and delivered food to the food bank from her church for many years.

"We know that she is now home with her Lord and praise God for that."

The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Care Center for the wonderful care she received for the last few months of her life.
