The sixth inning was all Othello as the Huskies scored six runs to take a 19-4 lead into the bottom of the sixth. Grandview was unable to respond in the home-half of the inning and Othello earned the mercy-rule victory over their Central Washington Athletic Conference rivals to improve to 1-0 in league play and 1-0 overall.

Othello’s Breanna Montemayor added two RBIs for the Huskies in the first game and Othello capitalized on 11 Grandview errors.
