Bows and arrows

Hunting with bow and arrows was essential in hunter-gatherer days, and may become so again, as tough times get serious. The big advantage of these primitive tools is that they can be made from materials found near your home!

Bigfork's Essential Stuff Project (ESP) will host a Bow and Arrows presentation by Luc Tunkel on at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Clementines in Bigfork (265 Bridge St). He will bring sample bows, shafts, feathers, and other primitive tools; and will explain the materials used to make this elegant weapon.

This event is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome. Coffee and tea are provided; desserts, beer and wine are available for purchase. Contact Edd Blackler (edd@essentialstuff.org, 837-5196) or Catherine Haug (cat@essentialstuff.org, 837-4577) for more information.
