We welcome family and friends to join us in a celebration of Jesse Crayne s life, on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Saddle Club in Whitefish, from 2 p.m. on. An account at Whitefish Credit Union will be set up for donations in Jesse s daughter s name, Lillee Ann Crayne. Jesse Lea Crayne was taken from us in a fatal car accident on Nov. 9, 2009, on his way to work. He grew up in Whitefish and graduated from Whitefish High School in 2003. He constructed bridges, did underwater welding and operated cranes. He was greatly passionate about his work. He loved his family and friends, and always put a smile on their face. He is survived by his mother, Linda Crayne; and sister, Amber Crayne; his newborn baby of 3 weeks, Lillee Ann Crayne; girlfriend, Jenni, and her children, Rylee and Sydnee. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Jason Lea Crayne. He will be greatly missed.

Climate Smart Glacier Country announced its Climate Smart Champions during a ceremony at the Earth Day celebration April 21 in Whitefish. Awards were presented to businesses, youth and an individual who are leaders in building local solutions to climate change challenges.
