Lois Charlotte (Shultz) Ginter, 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, took the Lord’s hand and went home on November 17, 2009.

She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Deep Creek, Wash.

Lois is survived by her son, Steve Ginter and wife, Lois, of Burbank, Wash.; her daughter, Sandy Reiber, and husband, Steve, of Spokane, Wash.; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and one sister.

Her husband Art preceded Lois in death. Lois married Art Ginter on July 25, 1946, in Arcata, Calif.

After marrying, Lois moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, and worked on the family farm and logging company. Later, she worked with her husband’s business, Art’s Electric, as a bookkeeper before retiring to Hope, Idaho, and then to Spokane, Wash.

Lois had a love of cooking, canning, picking berries, reading, and traveling. She played the piano for church for many years and was the church treasurer.

Her greatest joy came from seeing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

At Lois’s request there will be no memorial service.

All donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane. No flowers please.
