Ferol Colleen Terry, 78, passed away at the Mountain View Manor in Eureka on Sept. 29, 2009. Ferol was born May 31, 1931, in Wahryton, Wash., to Karl and Nellie (Rowland) Jess.

Ferol is survived by her husband, Orin Terry; stepson, Charles, and wife, Judy Terry, of Eureka; and niece, Sylvia Moeller, and her family. Extended family include Dr. Edward Stein; PA James Schmidt, and the entire staff at Prompt Care located in Eureka; also the entire staff at Mountain View Manor in Eureka.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Terry home, at 1 Dancing Prairie Trail in Eureka.

Friends are encouraged to visit the Web site at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave condolences for the family. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.

Climate change awards announced

Climate Smart Glacier Country announced its Climate Smart Champions during a ceremony at the Earth Day celebration April 21 in Whitefish. Awards were presented to businesses, youth and an individual who are leaders in building local solutions to climate change challenges.
