Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen after a person with bloody hands was spotted yelling outside. He reportedly said he had assaulted someone.

A woman driving with her child on her lap in the Evergreen area was reported for endangering the baby's welfare.

Kids allegedly got into an unoccupied rental home on East Cottonwood Drive.

A Montana 206 man who hired someone to do repairs on his house told deputies the worker had been paid, but the project never was completed.

Deputies were called to remove trespassers from the property of Columbia Falls Aluminum Co. and private property off Batavia Lane. In both cases, the alleged trespassers left willingly.

A man following customers around a store on U.S. 93 North and making them uncomfortable was told to stay out of the business.

The man riding his bike through a commercial drivers licensing course was moved along.

Officers responded to an East Oregon Street residence because a woman wanted her sister out of the house.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant during a traffic stop on Fourth Avenue West North.

Officers responded to a 12th Street West home after the girlfriend of the resident's son tried leave their grandchild behind, causing a burgeoning disturbance.

A man left his application for work at the water department behind, and it had some suspicious writing on it.

Someone broke into a home on Harrison Boulevard, making off with a wallet and rummaging through a car.

Whitefish police received 44 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to Fourth Avenue West after two passing cars got shot with paintballs.

Officers received 15 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to reports of a hit gas line on Fourth Avenue West.

The Somers Fire Department was called to extinguish an illegal burn on Lower Valley Road.

The Somers Fire Department responded Tuesday evening to an area off Blacktail Road to deal with residual hot spots from the Baldy Fire.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to a reported chimney fire at a West Reserve Drive apartment complex, but didn't find anything amiss.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a crash Wednesday morning at the intersection of U.S. 93 and Montana 40.
