The morning brought a healthy dusting of snow to the area. Along with it came fridig temperatures usually reserved for January.

Before noon today the temperature on weather.com was reading 25 degrees, with a wind chill clocking in at 11 degrees. Road conditions seemed to be improving as the sun peeked out.

Homecoming celebrations in Charlo and Arlee are on, but will require extra thick bundling, especially for the Homecoming courts dressed to impress.

Weekend forecasts show a decreased chance of precipitation. Saturday's high should be around 35, with winds making it extra chilly again.

Later next week, the temperatures should be evening out with highs in the low 50s.
