A 19-year-old Bonners Ferry man was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor posession of alcohol by a minor and resisting arrest.

Matthew Maclin, on Sept. 10, went into the custodian’s room at the Kootenai River Inn and was caught stealing amenities on video surveillance.

The police were contacted by Kootenai River Inn security and Maclin was arrested.

Maclin was taken to Boundary County Jail and when the arresting officer told Maclin to exit the patrol vehicle he refused.  The officer had to force the Maclin out of the vehicle.

Maclin’s next court hearing is scheduled for 9:45 a.m.,  Tuesday, Oct. 27, in front of Judge Patrick Luster at Boundary County Courthouse.
