MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Chiefs girls soccer team will look to improve on their best finish in head coach Ric Char’s 8-year career Saturday when they travel to Yakima, Wash., to take on the Eisenhower Cadets.

Saturday’s loser-out contest between the Chiefs and the Cadets is rescheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Marquette Stadium in Yakima, Wash. Saturday’s game was originally scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

With a win over Eisenhower Saturday morning, the Chiefs would advance to the second round of district tournament where they would either play the winner of the of Saturdays Wenatchee-Southridge contest or Chiawana-Pasco.

If the Chiefs knock off Eisenhower Saturday, Moses Lake will secure a spot in the Columbia Basin Big Nine Conference-Greater Spokane League regional tournament.

All district and regional contests are loser-out games.
