More than 100 expected for Kootenai River Ride

The 7th annual Kootenai River Ride sponsored by the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club will be held Saturday Sept. 12,  at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

The 100K starts at 8 a.m., the 60K starts at 9 a.m., and the 16K starts at 9:30 a.m. and travels along the Kootenai River and the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge.

According to Ron Sukenik of the Bonners Ferry Rotary club, there were 100 participants last year and it is anticipated there will be over 100 this year.

There will be a bike raffle, live music, lunch and T-shirts.

100 percent of the funds raised go back into the community through Rotary projects.
