A West Reserve Drive man contacted Flathead County Sheriff's deputies after his wife reportedly threatened to call in to have him arrested. When he found out she hadn't called, he got upset. Deputies responded and separated the couple for the night.

An argument over money got heated enough that deputies called to an auto-body store on Montana 209 were forced to separate those involved.

Someone stuffed a dead turkey into the mailbox of a KM Ranch Road resident.

Kalispell police

A Rosewood Drive resident called police about a man who keeps coming to her apartment, despite warnings that he stay away.

The driver of a truck who hit a building on Eighth Street West and then drove away was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

A man reportedly grabbed a crying child then chased a woman outside a business on U.S. 93, but they were gone when officers arrived.

Fifteen kids waiting for the dishwasher of a Main Street restaurant to finish his shift took off after police were called.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 33-year-old California man for driving on a suspended license, driving without a seat belt, and a stop sign violation during a traffic stop on Baker Avenue.

Officers received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 24-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman for assault after responding to a disturbance on Martha Road. An 18-year-old woman was cited for possession of alcohol and trespassing.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested for assault after she allegedly got into a shoving exchange with another person during a custody exchange at a U.S. 2 grocery store.

Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy on disorderly conduct charges after they got into a fight at the high school.

A purse and a carton of cigarettes were stolen from cars parked on Martha Road.

Officers received 22 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded early Wednesday morning to a crash at U.S. 2 and Meridian Road. No one involved wanted to go to the hospital.

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to a chimney fire at a home on Foy's Lake Road.

The Hungry horse Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS were paged out to First Street South East to treat a person having an allergic reaction to an insect sting.
