I am writing in support of Jack Silliker, who is a candidate for Whitefish School District Board of Trustees.

Jack, his wife and children have attended Whitefish public schools, and his grandchildren are currently attending.

Jack believes in quality education for all students. He has a vision for our schools that includes all facets — quality academic programs, technology and extra-curricular activities.

He will work hard to assess the district's educational practices. We continue to have an exodus of our local students to Kalispell schools. Jack will work to reverse this trend, to develop programs and policies that help retain our kids in our community.

Jack is able to listen to all sides in a discussion and make a reasoned decision. He served on the Park Side Federal Credit Union Board and is familiar with strategic planning, budgeting and cost/benefit analysis. He is fiscally responsible in his decision making.

I encourage you to vote for Jack Silliker for school board trustee.
