If you have ever had an interest in learning about fly fishing, or are an experienced fly fisher, you'll want to attend the Washington Fly Fishing Fair in Ellensburg on April 30th and May 1st. For the fourth year the Washington Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers is hosting the event, and these two days are loaded with things to see and do. They expect 100 fly tiers there to demonstrate their skills, and the Wenatchee Valley Fly Fishers will be offering free tying sessions for children. There will be fly casting demonstrations, with FFF Certified instructors available Saturday at the Free Casting Clinic. There will be two seminars every hour covering a wide range of fly fishing topics. The fair opens at 11 a.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. on Saturday. It closes at 5 p.m. on both days. The admission fee is just five dollars and free for FFF members or those under the age of 16. To get more details about the Fly Fishing Fair logo onto washingtoncouncilfff.org. The fair will be held at the Kittitas County Events Center, and don't forget your fishing gear, the fly fishing on the Yakima has been great this spring.
